If I have a full suzuki service would they have changed gearbox and diff oil at some point on an 07 plate? Doesn't really state anything in the service book

Best thing to do is phone the servicing dealer and see when its changed

In theory yes it should have been done but I've had a few in that have been to dealers all there services and went to drain and level plugs and you can tell they ve never been out Would probably suggest to get it changed separately and you will know it's been done

Yeah your right I need to change it then I'll know going to give it a go myself what tool do I need for the drain and fill plug do you know cheers

10mm drain plug tool by Draper is the one you want...don't be tempted to use a 3/8 drive ratchet which is 9.5mm....you'll strip out the recess.
Soak them in PlusGas releasing fluid for a day first.
