Hi all i need some advice,

My current after market shocks have started to leak so I am going to have to replace them.

I currently have the ironman nitrogas shocks fitted and in my opinion have not really off-roaded them that hard but i just don't think they are up to the job.

I also have a ORA winch bumper and 12000lbs winch fitted (12,000....its a long story). so the once 2"lift isn't looking that good any more even though they say the kit should be rated for +200kg (+50kg on the front).

So to the main point. I'm looking at getting the jimnybits 3"shocks and springs and was hoping for some help with what shocks would be best suited and would the diesel springs also help? (my car is a RHD petrol) I'm also going to fit the rear shock re-locators do I need to adjust the shock length to compensate for this (ie ask for a 2"shock)?

I noticed it said that the es3000 and 9000 shocks need mods to fit and anyone tell me what they are? And do i even need to be looking at these shocks (though by the shocks description the es3000 is suited to the way i drive?)

Ok guys thanks in advance and i'm sorry if this has all been asked before and if i think of anything else ill add it

Forget about those rear shock relocators. A waste of money.

Diesel springs are a good idea as you have a fairly heavy winch and bumper.

But I would suggest that you consider a Trail Master suspension kit. A bit more expensive, but great quality and a far better choice than any Rough Country or Procomp shock.

If I were you I'd consider keeping the 2" lift. Perhaps get 2" diesel springs just for the front. Then you have more money for shocks. Perhaps AVO? But my money would still be on the Trail Master shocks. Even if it means sticking with the 2" lift.
