Does anyone know if the non vvt gearbox will fit on the vvt engine? Don't care about ratios atm just wondering as I may make a solely off road Jimmy with the red one I've got I can't be bothered to strip it anymore

I think the 2001-2005 box will fit to the engine ok but there has to changes to the gear lever selector somehow, I have asked this question of J999pre as my 2006 vvt box has gone, just waiting for a reply.
I will let you know when I do buddy.

I'm not fussed about little bits like gear lever ratios etc, just for an idea at tho mo. Thinking of a big suspension lift and a body lift too just for fun off road. Cheers though!

I m pretty sure it will not fit, I wait to be corrected but we went down this route after a fraudulent sale on this forum last year.
