It all seems ok in there but i may not put the carpet back in as its damp, stinks and isnt in good nick anyway. I often stand the back (dont have rear seats) when shooting foxes, rabbits etc so want to make sure i give the bare metal a coat of something that protect it, mainly from rust. I am fitting a floor in the back but this wont be for a little while. So chaps what should i use to treat the inside body?
Thanks in advance.

There is POR15 paint which is meant to be really tough but needs lots of good prep and is not cheap.

I shall not be placing a new carpet in (if at all) for a while, so what ever i use has to not remain wet or slippery etc after application.
Cheers again

Maybe throw down sand on the wet paint to add some grip.jim wrote: Anything tough and keeps oxygen from contacting the metal, maybe a zinc or red oxide primer before paint? As you stand in your jim it might be worth putting down some of that adhesive sandpaper texture flooring. It's used on boat decks as anti-slip.

Grip isnt am issue to be honest. I considered a sandpaper grip tape type covering but thought dirt would be impossible to get out. Its a farm/shooting vehicle as well as a landy slayer on the lanes so has as much mud and crap on the inside as it does on the outside
