From a vvt to a vvt I'd say yes if you keep the Jimny ecu. There may be a difference in sump and oil pick up pipe but you just put the Jimny parts on the Ignis engine.
The vvt engine into a non vvt Jimny is trickier because of the immobiliser coding.
I imagine that the non vvvt 1.3 head would fit on the 1.5 block to lose the vvt but the vvt is part of what gives the 1.5 its pep, so that would not be preferable.
I've no experience of any of this so I'm assuming alot from the knowledge I do have.
