Wheel bearing changing advice was created by davert85
So im going to tackle changing my front wheel bearing this week. Iv heard its easy, iv heard its a nightmare.
Tips...advice...thoughts...warnings....anything would be a great help thanks. Novice mechanic here.

Gold Jimny the best colour (sold)
Big red Jimny 32" tyres, arbs, cage 5:1 transfer etc. (Sold)
Grey pick up Jimny
Turbo m13a, arbs, floating rear shafts, disc conversion rear, vented front conversion. 245 70 16. Winch, 3" lift, 4:16 trans hd shafts and CVS

Have you got a press to get the old bearing out and the new one in? If not line up a friendly garage to fit the new bearing into the hub once you have the hub off the spindle

You don't need a press. A big hammer will suffice for removal of old bearing.
When putting in the new bearing. But the hub in the oven and the bearing in the freezer a few hours:)
