If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Broken anti roll bar link, broken spring, play in radius arm bushes, panhard snapped/bent & catching axle, panhard bushes worn, shock absorber loose/faulty.
Could even be a corroded and snapped mounting.

You likely have the kingpin bearings gone, amazed you haven't got the associated wheel wobble and wandering steering.
