Just a quicky. About to buy a winch but shall i go 12v or 24v???
If i go 24 il need another battey, but whats is there much more than that cost wise and will i need to build a housing for it etc???

A 12v 13000lbs winch is what I have and I think that will be plenty as that's 6.7ton of power....

24v will be hard to work on a 12v system

Cheers bud. May i ask what winch you have?
And would you go (if you had the choice) superwinch or goodwinch? Or is there little difference?

Superwinch tigershark with synthetic rope is best value for playing with.

It was an eBay special that one of the offroad clubs I am with got. It don't have a name on it just the rating for it

Get a Goodwinch tds, a much better which than the Superwinch tigershark. Synthetic rope or not. Or perhaps the superwinch Talon, which is quite similar to the TDS.
