Hi,
They are very easy to replace. Just unscew your old one and pull it out a few inches. Cut it off from the top BUT ensure you attach your new cable end using electrical tape or gaffer rape to the end to form a temprary join. Then from the bottom find the wire and pull your new cable and plastic sheath down and when the new cable comes out connect it to the connecting block by your brake pedal. Then screw the 2 x screws into he top and your all done. Its easier if there are 2 people - 1 pulling the cable down at floor level, the other guiding the new sheath down from the top.
It is quite a tight squeeze by the pedals - but can be done easily.

Its easy I done it by myself I just unplugged it at the radio, tied abit of string to the end, un done the screws and pulled it out.
Then tie the string to the end of the new aerials cable and pull it back through. Easy

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

The "correct" approach is to take the broken off bit and ram it into the socket. so you have a 6" ariel that will only get local stations
Mine has been like that since I got it, several years ago

They are good. I have one. Bought it from Thunderpole and someone kind posted a 10% discount code for them the other day!
