I went to take the jim out last night for a bit of lamping, as i went round my first corner i heard a sloshing sound. I thought i may of left a large bottle of water in the back but after a few more corners i pulled over and opened the back to find A LOT of water. It had filled up the hole where the jack goes (the main place they rust so this is excellent news) and was just laying all over the back where the seats used to be.
So i need a new roof, sharpish to if this rain continues. I like the look of the fastback roofs but for some reason cant find one anywhere. Any suggestions? Also, is it worth drilling a drainage hole where the jack goes and if so shall i coat the hole and surrounding area with anything? There all ready was a tiny bit of surface rust in the jack hole which didnt bother me but seeing as its now been underwater for a few days shall i be cautious and treat the area and if so what with???

Thanks in advance for any info guys.

Cheers

Type jimny fast back in your search engine then hit images and the first red jimny you see with a fast back on is the one I bought forget the price if your jimny doesn't have zip out side windows as that price is including a frame.

I think it worked out about £160/ £180 give them a ring you can pay over the phone also they do a good service and very helpful the company is called monsoon.

The cover needs to be put on in a warm enviroment and it helps to have someone pulling and pushing as it needs to be stretched at first, mine wont be coming off untill we have warm weather back

Tip: because of blind spots and clowns at supermarkets that walk straight behind you when your reversing I always reverse into a parking spot
