I think if your like me the question is;

"What are the best tyres to fit and in what size?"

After reading all the info on the threads here it is clear there is no one answer.

Do you want to play in mud, rain, snow, sand etc.?

I wanted 215 / 75 / 15 after initial research but the cost is double that of a 195 / 80 / 15!

I am about to press the button to buy the cheaper ones as £220 delivered is better than £400 + for me.

There is no one tyre, you pays your money.

I want BFG but my compromise is to concur with Rob5230. These were also recommended by a tyre company I happened across yesterday!

It's Black Friday grab a bargain!

The reason I'm asking this as Rob5230 has put the tyre he recommended at 195/80 r70.
I was wondering if there was a reason for this.

Hi ALL. Just giving you an update on what I eventually bought for my jimny.

Even though I liked the Dunlop Grandtrek SJ6 205/70 R15 95Q they were more purely for snow which meant having two sets of tyres which meant spending more than I wanted

The other set which was www.camskill.co.uk/m26b0s243p115385/Hank...s%3A_3_Noise%3A_73dB which was ok as well but I wanted them in 205 70 r15 and when I looked into buying the the price went up a bit.

So....

....giving that we don't have much snow in the south of the uk I opted for a set of these

www.nexen-tyres.co.uk/products/SUV~4x4-Tyre-Range/Roadian-AT/

which were on special offer (kept the wife happy :) :) :)

since iv'e had these fitted the steering which had a very slight wobble has now gone and the drive feels much better.
