I started off high and worked my way down ever since

Yours is an automatic so the prop problem might not be relevent???
Mine went at app 31000 mls too.
People who did higher mileages were probably lucky as the fault would have been picked up in the warranty period unlike my low mileage example.
Can't help with the vibration but the fault with the prop was oil was making it's way past the splines on the output shaft and out through the centre of the u/j due to faulty sealant .
If it's getting sprayed over the bottom of the car and exhaust it might be the same problem as the u/j throws it everywhere.
The info is here(inc DIY repair) and it was an Aussie tech bulletin
