Front towbar and rear worklights was created by woody woodpecker
Hi,

I'm new to forum and would like to know if anybody has info on fitting a front towbar for shunting trailers and also a wiring diagram for rear working lights on a separate toggle switch.

thanks,

Chris.

if you take the centre black part out of the bumper

I wired up my reversing lights to a toggle switch on the dash. I bridged the wires to the reverse switch on the gearbox, then traced the wire back to the fuse box and put a rocker switch in one of the blanks to the right of the steering wheel.

If you need more light than that, I'm sure you could run a decent LED floodlight off the same reversing light wiring.

For the front towbar, take off the front bumper and you'll soon see what you've got to play with. The Jimny-bits front recovery point/winch tray would be a good starting point to fix a hitch to.
