I'm currently in the market for a new set of 205/70/15 tyres for my Jimny.
At first the family and I were trying to decide if we kept the current Bridgestone Duelers for summer tyres, and found some suitable for winter/wetter weather. But this also meant I would have to spend money on another set of alloys/steels, and I also have insurance to pay for in December so....

Long story short, we've been looking at All Terrains to give me the chance to try greenlaning and offroading in the future, but also good on the road and motorways. I frequently drive to Bradford which is notorious for not gritting their roads before snow falls or ice!

So we've narrowed it down to General Grabber AT or Yokohama Geolandar (the Grabber AT2 is a little out of my price range).
Can any of you offer recommendations for either of these tyres? Thanks in advance!

I have been debating the same tyres myself and finally went with the Yokohama Geolander tyres. Due to have them put on this Saturday.

I've just put the Grabber AT2's on mine and they seem great. By that I mean they look fantastic, they are quiet and have performed very well off road (imo).

Down side is they are pretty expensive!

I went with 215/75/15

Doesn't really help I guess as you asked about two different tyres, but I thought I would reply as I was in exactly the same position a month ago.

If I read correctly Both tyres have the same mpg E and wet road C rating. Both factors that are important to me personally. Difference was the grabbers were a few decibels quieter. For the price I will probably be getting some geolanders for mine.

I didn't notice any difference in road sound when I changed from the standard tyres to Geolandars, just a bit of a drop in mpg and less likely to break away in the wet.
