xud (edit) help on gear ratios was created by oilypirate
hi guys
I am a big fan of the xud peugeot engine run 3 of them in my fleet never any problems and easy to tune up a little for free/cheaps
now i understand people use the ldv poilt gear box dose any one know what rev's you are doing at 40~50mph etc
also i have seen that some vit's use the xud engine so has any one done the convo using the vit box?
i did ask a question on anther forum and the reply i got was the vit bell housing would fit the jimny box any suzuki box  ?
but surly the input shaft on the jimny box would be alot smaller

you cant fit a vit belhousing to a jimny box cus its part of the box on the jimny not separate like on vits also the only vit belhousing that fits the pug engine is from the commercial vit.
my personal opinion is the pug engine is too heavy for a jimny better off with a 1.7td isuzu

thanks for the reply V'M that clears this up for me on the bell housing front
I'm not a fan of the 1.7td lumps not as hardy as the xud that and there not as easy to get hold off or as cheap
