All that said, I do my own brakes and have no automotive training. My dad taught me by instruction and supervision, and he's not a mechanic either, just been doing his own car work on the drive for the last 40 years... People have to start somewhere... I just think that words and pictures are no substitute for in-person learning. Not everyone has access to that though. hmmm.

Nothing to thank. Its clear cut to me. I do my own too as my Dad ran his own mobile mechanics business for years before ill health forced him to give up.
He has and still does help me out so I am confident in my own skills to do brake work now on my own.

I completely agree with your previous post and this one! Dad's tend to be the best tutors and ive learnt most of my knowledge of tinkering with motors from him.
The main reason i say a tutorial would be good is to purely go through it in my head before hand on the actual car, I suppose in somes ways refreshing yourself and knowing the different clips, bolts sizes helps you be prepared

It's surprising with the many experienced jimny owners out there to
I wouldn't put a guide up simple because if you followed it and there was a mistake, I would potentially be liable for anything that happened. I am not saying you would personally blame the guide writer but there are plenty who would
