brake warning light stays on was created by chalks
 Hi, Had my Jimny 2months - 2002 model. The brake warning light stays on. I've investigated the handbrake switch - no problem there.. The fluid level is good. I disconnected the lead from the reservoir - light stayed on. It is erratic but is on more than off. Any ideas, advice or help would be most welcome.

Flick the ignition key back a touch after you start it.

Common fault with the ignition barrel.
As j999pre says, just turn the key back slightly once it's started and the light goes out. I'm not sure if there is a fix without replacing the whole barrel.
