Hi ATW1980.

My set-up:-

+2" Pro Comp ES1000 shocks all round with rubber bushes
+2" Explorer 4x4 blue springs, (powder coated in gloss black)
The above were purchased as a kit from Explorer 4x4 which went out of business some years ago. (KAP springs are closest to these springs).
Rhino Ray castor corrected front radius arms and rear trailing arms with std rubber bushes
Jimny Bits adjustable front and rear panhard rods
Extended Goodrich Hoses
Procomp ES2000 Steering damper
25mm Front and Rear Prop shaft spacers (Bits for Vits)
Front ARB retained
25mm Eichbach alloy wheel spacers

Overall road ride is firm - tbh I think most lifted springs are on the firmer side compared to standard to prevent too much wallowing in bends. Going over speed humps though is much improved over stock suspension, - enough flex and damping.

I originally had Procomp ES3000's fitted and found these to harsh on the road - hence the ES1000's which are designed for a lighter truck. I used to have ES9000's fitted to my Samurai and on road they were far too hard - swapped for ES1000's!

I've heard really good reports on the German made Trialmaster kits - the 2" spring lift can be specified with sport or comfort shocks - depending on your preference. This 2" kit is, if anything, slightly shorter than KAP,RR,JB 2" springs, and comes with a TUV certificate.

Hope this helps.

Btw, what does "No ARB" means?

Also, anyone on the 4" ORA lift kit?
Any feedback on the absorbers?

thanks in advance..
