Rear Shocks Top bolts was created by jimothy
Hi Guys
Just been looking at replacing the shocks on the rear of the wifes 07 Jimny. I Have sprayed all the bolts with plus gas for the last few days and all was going well until I went to undue the N/S/R Shock top bolt. it has welded itself to the inner part of the bush so it is not coming out just spreading the bracket. looks like I will have to cut it. Not such a nice job .But in guessing someone on here has been there before. access to the N/S/R is a bit tight due to the Exhaust being in the way and I have a new Exhaust Centre and rear to fit but I think I have been given the wrong fitting kit where the Exhaust fitss the Cat. Supplied buy click car parts the bolts look to be to small packet says it fits Suzuki Swift 1300Gt 1986 on so I may have to adapt this as well as the bolts from the centre pipe to the CAT are well rotten.
Any help as to the shocker problem would be appreciated.
Regards Jim

Thanks Mate
I will probably try to saw it off. I do have an air hacksaw in the shed. but as I need to replace the centre and rear Exhaust I might as well break the bolts off at the cat and drill them out at the same time at least this will give me a bit more room to get at that shocker bolt without that in the way. Nice job but this seems to be the norm with the Jimny. And as mine has done 144.000 Miles its the first set of shocks.
