KAP alloy sill guards was created by Phatphingers
Hi,

Can someone advise me what is the best way to fit KAP alloy sill guards, I have them attached at the moment with Dinitrol 410 Polyurethane adhesive but I wasn't sure if I needed to also use self tappers/pop rivets/something else ??

Has anyone else fitted them?

TIA

I'd ask KAP what they use, most of the pics of the cars on the website seem to have them on!

How much are they out of interest? I was looking and couldn't see a price for them on the website.

Sorry don't know how much they cost as they were in the back when I bought the Jimny, just hadn't been fitted along with a few other bits

Hi I purchased these and was advised to bond them on from Kap. They said you can use rivets to hold them on until it sets. I used windscreen bonding. Primed the area with this stuff I borrowed from my auto glass mate so it has somethig to grip to then zigg zagged the back of the covers with the bonding and squirted some in the holes for the original fixings then held in place for 2min and let it dry. Next I have to run a bead of black sealer round the out side just going to use black tiger seal. Sorry I don't know the names of the windscreen bonding
