How much longer approx do my panhard rods need 3" was created by miktt100
Hi all , just wondering how much longer roughly my panhard rods need to be for a 3 inch lift ,
I'm cutting down a standard rod and inserting threaded rod then welding nuts on end I want to have as little cut out so as just to leave maybe 15 mm adjustment

don't use you rod there week as shit can bend them with your bare hands your be wasting your time and money get some 25mm 3mm wall cds steel tube cut the ends of your arms weld them on some new tube.
the rear one was about 3/4 of a inch longer than standard the front was abit less than that longer if that make seince due to the front being shorter standered, if I remember right the rear was 37 3/4 hole to hole but don't quote me on that
one thing to think if y have a adjuster if your not going to change the lift as your going to set it then leave it so just make them fixed and then there stronger and save money and if needed add a turnbuckle later
here a couple pics one of my new one and a bent crap original one I bent with just my hands

Cheers for getting back .
I got these spare rods to work on , I'm putting a threaded rod through the middle to strengthen , I ll see how it goes with that and will probably make up new one once my welding improves
Thanks again
