You're right - I can't find a How To Guide either but I'm sure I've seen one, so I've no idea where that's gone!
You can get them from car spares shops, no need to get one from Suzuki!

Hmmm, finally got under the car and had a look at this. There’s no grease point in the UJ’s, so unfortunately I can’t do anything there but there’s no play at all in the tail shaft (or propshafts) and no visible signs of anything untoward in any of the UJ’s .
Given that the noise that was there for about 2 weeks and was diagnosed as a tailshaft UJ has been gone for nearly 3 months now, does anyone have any thoughts on the original diagnosis and what to do about replacing this?

The UJ isnt greasable the rear prop itself has a greese nipple tho.
Suzuki will try take you for a mug, if they cant supply the uj go elsewhere.
If its gone away and you cant find anything wrong id just leave it alone and see if the noise returns.

Thanks jonesyba420, that's pretty much what I thought too.
I've finally worked out that that noise comes back for a while after reversing uphill to our parking spot rather than driving in. To test the theory, I reversed all the way up the drive the other day and the chatter on overrun was back plus quite a bad deep vibration whilst accelerating.
Does any of this help anyone with a diagnosis?
Thanks again to everyone who's helped out with this - it's starting to drive me a little crazy!
