Mine needs that, or two bags, just to get enough brake to pass the MoT WITH a spring on! It is one of the most annoying things I have ever come across and I've had Suzukis since 1985. So if no spring gives better rear brakes I might just remove mine.

The bracket at the axle end moves (or bends with a hammer ;) ) to adjust the load sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) in Suzuki talk. It is on p5.43 of the manual.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Bought a bias valve from a 2007 vvt off Fleabay, doesn't have a piston, lever or anywhere to attach the spring, how does that work?????? Just guessing ABS doesn't need it ????
