Exactly what happened to me

Had to fish it out with a screw driver, and needed a torch to really see inside.

yes I found it there but put it back to place I dissambled it twice but still same with a lot of play the gears go in good but it is like your in neutral every gearj999pre wrote: Have you had the lever out?
