Rough country shocks was created by mattyj
I have recently purchased and fitted a 2.5" rouch country suspension lift from ORA and after going off roading just 2 times my back drivers shock has already bust, after ringing them up and asking for a refund they said they wouldnt refund me because its the relocation brackets what have made my shocks an inch smaller making them bottom out And this i the reason its bust, but to take the brackets off means i have to get all new panhard rods with kinks in it to stop the shock and the panhard rod colliding, ha anyone else had the same problem an how did you go on about sorting it?

For the original problem (shock bottoming out) you should look at the bump stops on the chassis rail and extending them. This is almost always forgotten when lifting a Jimny.

Yes, these can actually improve a suspension system by stopping the affected wheel tucking up in the wheel arch and by stopping the shock from bottoming out.
