Jimny cv help (20 spline) was created by Cindythejimny
I have recently busted my os cv on on my 51 plate jimny. I ordered a cv front micksgarage after reg checking with them and turns out the 19 spline cvs they sent don't fit as mine is 20. I thought I'd be thinking ahead and ordered two...... Doh. Hopefully they will take them back but I am struggling to find anywhere that sells the 20 spline for my sohc Spanish beaut. Can anyone please help as I'm at my wits end. Frustratingly in the same night in the workshop I was fitting my new ORA pan hard set to find that after fitting the rear that front pan hard they had packed two end with the same threads and not opposites, not a successful night in the garage!!! So cv help please!!!!!

You could ask for a complete cv and shaft from someone second hand as the diff end and hub end are the same on all so you wouldn't need to match your existing shaft.

So based on that if I have the easier to source 19 spline cv's then I could try to source the 19 spline shaft and I'm good to go and this should make life easier in the future??

20 splines are not easy to find. as said 19s available with ease.
but swapping the shaft is easiest if you intend to smash the internals on a few more
