Suspension too bouncy was created by topjimny
Hi guys,
A friend of mine run Trialmaster +50 mm Sport lift kit and think it's too bouncy. He talked about buying new shocks from the Confort version, but ee were thinking that maybe just replacing the front or rear ones, it could soft things up. So, this is the question we need help with. Rear ones or front ones or just buy the 4 end of story?

Too bouncy?
Sounds like one or more of the shocks are damaged.
The Trailmaster sport shocks are firm, but should not be bouncy.

wouldnt a hard spring on a soft shock create more bounce as the shock wouldnt react quick enough? so you'd get a pogo effect.
sure this was discussed at length yesterday

If it's a complete trailmaster kit, then the springs match the Jimny.
Perhaps bouncy is not the correct term for what he is experiencing?

Yeah, maybe not the correct term. It is a quite firm ride. What gets bouncy are girl's tits that ride along.
Anyway, which ones? We thought maybe the rear ones first?
PS. Shocks are not damaged

If he thinks it too firm a ride. I'd say get the trailmaster comfort shocks, all 4.
