I have some Technic Tracker MT's on my Jimny, 195/80's, and I have a mixed report for you. Off road they work really well, in boggy fields and the clay soil where I've done some pay and play days. The wear rate and pattern is a bit odd if I'm honest. I've only done 5K miles and the outer edges of the fronts have worn very heavily. With one tyre every other tread block on the outside of the wheel wore heavily and it made a really obvious slapping noise when above 25mph. This tyre is now my spare. I've also found that you get a fair amount if under steer on wet Tarmac !!

They are by no means a bad tyre, and I may replace two soon with the same purely on a cost basis. Tbh they are the first MT tyre I have owned and this may be just the compromises you have to live with for off road traction.

I also got my tracking checked and test my tyres pressures on a regular basis.

Save abit more and get the kl71's............firstly these are the tyres you want and will therefor forever be thinking "I wish I got the kumho's" secondly they are brilliant tyres! offroad I have no complaints ive driven through everything ive pointed them at including quite deep mud, on road they seem as good as a road tyre IMO (ive not driven the jim on road tyres but its just as good if not better than the AT's I had on it first) they deal with wet roads fine only sliding if you really try and dont aquaplane to bad either.noise level is low aswell only a couple db above cooper ATs.

They look the s*#t aswell B)

i had the kingpin tracker all terrain on my trooper. fair grip off road but noisy for an all terrain on road. the biggest issue for me was at 4 months old they started to develop cracks like perishing between the tread blocks. i wouldn't touch kingpin again. i think they're made for warm climates.
conversely i now run insa turbo dakar in 195 80 15 and cant say a bad word about them. outstanding off road and fair for a m/t on road and not too noisy either in fact near silent compared to my mate bfg km2 muds. i think if i wanted a cheapish mud tyre i would look to the malatesa range. these are about a tenner cheaper than the insa dakar.
