What's the best clutch to get? was created by GuardianAngel
OK so I have annoyingly cooked my clutch (and boy does it smell nice  ). The J is driveable but hitting the gas moderately hard up hill causes it to slip. I did it trying to get out of a rut today laning
So, I am looking for something a bit tougher to cope with situations like today. I am really looking for something that is a step up from the standard type clutches (like you would get from EuroCrapParts) but not a high end one, so something in between possibly.
I have Googled around but I can't quite get the answer I am looking for.
Any suggestions? I know nothing about clutch makes

I use CG Motorsport for my SJ413 and also for my Jimny, it is a competition clutch and is a lot stronger than the standard clutch. Takes a bit of getting used to but take a lot of punishment.
I think the SJ and Jimny clutch are the same price at about £160 I think, but your best bet is to call - 0113 2426359 or email on info@clutch-specalist.co.uk.
I was dealing with a sound lad there called Andrew.
