Jimny ECU brain fart? was created by Fyffe
Hello,
the following fault has now happened to me twice now. engine temp is fine, fuel level fine ect....
occasionally when rolling down a road the jimny decided to kill its self under load, doesn't die completely but drops in revs down to idle speed then shoots back up and so on. i pull over to the side of the road, let it idle for a while rest RPM sounds normal but rev counter bounces between idle a 5k rpm.
i turn the ignition off. then problem solved drives away fine with now complaints?
any ideas gents?
