When I fit filters like this I usually fit an air scoop. B)

It was more of a question as im not sure. Probably is tho as its a "mod"!!

if I was you I would fit a performance filter and see what you can do about the standard air feed, im not sure what it looks like in the wing but I think the initial inlet is in the engine bay anyway which is pretty stupid.you might be able to fit a larger pipe to the airbox using a simpler route ending in a better location for airflow.

I would do something similar if I didnt want a snorkle :whistle:

It is. Just front of the filter box.

If your looking for performance gains the bigger the feed pipe the better (to a degree), the simpler route the better, add a decent performance filter hey presto youll have better results than a cone filter gulping in hot air from the engine bay.
