Noticed a small oil leak from my axle yesterday, from around the weld to the left of the diff. I cleaned the area up with a wire wheel and found a hair line crack down the centre of the weld about an inch long! I should of took a picture but i have now welded it up. Thinking of making a brace plate not to add support and welding that on too. Anyone else heard of axles cracking? seems to be just week weld not corrosion?

Yes one of the Australian guys on here had that problem.

That's a nightmare mate I welded some strengtheners on to mine for piece

of mind and I am going to be running 31"
