My Jim is fitted with the G13bb, i think all will agree that it is somewhat of a slouch. I've been searching forums for subtle mods to up the power. I've come across a very simple but effective mod, has anyone tried it?

It is fitting the g16 throttle body from the 98+ GV/Baleno.

looks like an idea.. I'm up for trying it as essentially its just like sticking a bigger carb on!.. maybe bigger injectors from 1.6 too might increase the fuel/air??

That size should work well as long as you have no restrictions before the throttle body. Don't forget that the Metro and Esteem are both front wheel drive, the throttle body may not fit the Jimny manifold but my hunch is that it will, it looks very similar.
Don't change the injectors as it will not run at all well.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Based on the link below, the 1.6 tb mated with the 1.6 exhaust manifold are a good mod...
