Steering Shudder - death wobble question was created by paulnb57
OK so I have the death wobble, I can get it while gently accelerating between 40/50 mph and also during braking. it only does it occasionally, and it isn't necessarily triggered by road bumps. The Kingpins were done about 500 miles ago for the MOT (for the PO) and there were no advisories regarding bushes, thats not to say they are not shot tho.........so based on your experience where would you check next?

I would tighten the nearside panhard rod bolt up as tight as you can.

i'd be carefull tightening the panhard bolt to tight if the axle side ( which i believe this is?)
as i stripped mine and it was a right bugger on,
thankfully richie helped me out and we managed to get a half ground nut under the spring seat to bolt to, but it wasnt the best job
