4wd low not working was created by i5jimny
Coming home tonight, I thought I'd try the 4wd to keep it working. Managed to engage 4wd high ok but when I stopped to try 4wd low it refused to engage, tried it numerous times clutch in etc. light flashes and beeps but refuses to stay lit on dash. Any ideas where to look first? It is a 57 model with the selector buttons. Have done a search on the forum but can't seem to find a solution.

when you stopped to try 4WD-low (from 4WD-High) are you sure your wheels were in a totally straight line ?

Thanks for the reply. The wheels were pointing straight ahead as I always make sure I'm on straight bit of road before trying 4wd. Going to try it on way to work this morning, just wondering if there are any connections at the transfer box or elsewhere that may have come adrift, even more so as it has been in garage getting work done, i.e. transmission fluids changed and half shaft seals replaced.

Mine won't go in unless you floor the clutch!
