Remould tyres was created by FifeJimny
Evening All,

From what i read a few people have 215/75 r15 mud tyres (e.g. KL71's) on a standard jimny but my question is, are remould tyres (e.g.MARIX PUMA) in 215/75 r15 a larger overall diameter?

My plan is to fit a set of 215/75 r15 marix puma's to a standard jimny with a 2" or 2.5" lift suspension lift later.

anybody got any thoughts?

Cheers

Take care with remoulded tyres, Jimny's are very sensible.
A lot of remoulded tyres could give you strong vibrations that will show at certain speeds.
Is it your daily car and you have to drive some +40 miles each day, then think twice about such tyres.

I wouldn't say it's remoulds that cause the vibration but they will highlight any problems such as worn bushes or bearings as a vibration. I balance them with balancing beads rather than muck about with weights now though.

Me too, never even think about using anything different on an offroader tbh. I wouldn't use em on something I was doing a lot of regular road miles in though, they do tend to wear quicker.
