PLEASE help turning off this 4WD 4L light was created by moonoenroute
Hi everyone,

Can you please help with turning off the blinking 4WD 4L light . I had a broken rubber tube and couldn't select 4WD before and got it replaced with the new one and everything is perfectly working fine when you select 4WD and 4L, only thing I can not solve is the flashing 4WD and 4L indicators start flashing and keep on flashing while just standing or in drive mode, I checked the rubber tubes if there are all fitted well, everything is all well fitted, got underneath the car and checked several times. I tried to disconnect the battery of the car but the flashing still comes back on after a few second and then it dissapears and then flashes on. It is very annoying when you drive.

My guess is there could be some reset button somewhere just to turn off the indicator after installing the rubber tubes.

Anyone had a similar problem, if possible please help providing step by step procedures. I read some articles about blanking off the light etc., I don't think it is something that is related to this issue.

Thanks all for the help,

Greetings,

Moono

There is no reset it sounds like you may still have a problem some where how have you tested it to see if it all is working

All the metal is ok, sometimes the light indicator intervals change as I play with the rubber tubes, now the 4wd is working really fine better than before I would say, previously it was waiting ages to get connected, it would blink and blink, I took it to the dealer shop, they replaced it there, they can't find the couse of this blinks either, funny,
