Longer wheel studs, or different stud nuts, or....

Can anyone help with what I thought would be a simple problem to resolve. I've just bought my first Jimny - an £800 cheapo. Anyways I've put it through an MOT (15 advisories, yikes) and I've just picked up a set of alloys for only 33 quid off of ebay. And that's with half decent tyres on! So this leads me to my question: I've taken the steel wheels off and put the alloys on, only to discover that because the alloys have thicker rims than the steel ones, I now find that there is not enough stud to attach the nut on to. When fitted, the nuts look to be seated ok inside the alloy, although it's difficult to actually see. I've counted 7 full revolutions of the nut onto the stud to it being tight to 100nm. The steel wheel count was 10 revolutions. My alloys on my van have 8 revolutions and so do the steel wheels on my nephews seicento.
This is all long winded ain't it?! Basically, can I get longer studs? Or can I get different nuts? I've been told various different things off the local parts suppliers and also tyre yard?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I tried to upload a photo of the alloy but it didn't seem to load. Let's try again.

You need the right nut for alloys as the tapered seat is a different angle

You can get longer studs from Muddyzook.com and you can get 60' tapered open wheel nuts from Bits4Vits web shop.

Muddyzook no longer do longer studs, I had to source Subaru/Nissan studs for my rear disk conversion, would have just been easier to bung wheel spacers on the back.
