Removed the Catalytic Converter was created by ClintZA
Hi everyone,
Im from South Africa and we have problems with fuel quality which regularly blocks the Cat Converter.
so we removed it and i was wondering if anyone can suggest if there need to be additional fuel/air flow setting that should be changed to compensate for this mod??

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Don't think so, but if you have a late model, with 2 oxygen sensors, one each side of the catalyst, then the engine warning light will come on, because it knows the catalyst is not working.
There must be a way to stop this.

You can add a spacer under the rear O2 to move it up out of the exhaust stream.
