Which Oxygen/Lambda sensor? was created by Osborne
Hi everyone, wonder if someone out there can help me please? We have an orange engine management light on our 52 plate O2. I've just been to my local, friendly mechanic who stuck the OBD reader on it.....apparently it's sensor 1 bank 1! Now I'm guessing this is the manifold sensor as according to the OBD reader there are sensors 1 & 2, logically 1 would be nearest the engine & 2 would be the Cat sensor.....my logic anyway!
So does anybody know for sure so I can purchase the correct one?
Thanks

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Number 1 is pre-cat (manifold side), number 2 is post-cat.
