215 75 R15 , on 3 inch lift. was created by macguyverjimny
Hey jimny lovers
I ave 215 75 R15 and all the accessories for a 3 Inch lift i just need to install it when i ave some spare time.
Is there anyone running 215 75 r15 on smaller on a 3 inch lift?
How do you experience the ride ans stability ?
Did you use offset rims or spacers?
Do you reckon its unsafe?
Thank you

215/75/15 are fine on no lift at all.
I ran them with no lift for a couple of months and they were fine, now currently on 2" spring spacers and the stability is fine, no offset rims or spacers either.

I have a 3 inch lift and run 215/80/15's in an extreme tread pattern and find it feels safe and fine. I have standard wheels and no spacers and it's as stable as a standard Jimny as far as I can tell.
I would suggest that whenever your radius arm bushes are ready for renewal, spend the little bit more for Super Pro Poly Bushes. Not only are they millions of times easier and quicker to change but they make the car feel a lot more stable on the road with no noticeable difference to flex off road.
You will want castor correction front arms at least if you have worries about how it drives that's for sure. I don't know if they are in your accessories for the lift.

I have 4 x super poly, caster corection bushes for front, but still standard bushes in the rear aswell as the standard bushes in front on the other end of the radius arm,
So at the moment i cant get the poly bushes for the rest, dont have money for itnow, will get it at a later stage,
I was told no caster /camber correction is needed at the rear,
Thank you

With a 3" lift you want castor arms as the bushes are only for upto 2"
Castor in the rear isnt as big a deal as in the front but its still worth doing
