Can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of getting some 32mm spacers for my Jim?
I know they will make the wheels protrude slightly more than they do already, but does that offer any real advantages for a stock Jimmy like mine?
Cheers Guys

helps you fit in the rutts on tracks as it widens the jimnys foot print ( good and bad)
More stable due to the wider foot print
personal preferance on looks

Puts more strain on wheel bearings

Thanks for the super swift response!
I do think they look good, my main concern now is the stress on the wheel bearings, I don't want to upgrade my truck just to have to continually repair it!
Thanks

Hi James

I've a love/hate relationship with mine - see here

Love them, more stable, planted ride on the road, looks better :)

but consider this - will have a slightly increased turning circle, more resistance and probably end up with a mild death wobble

if you can afford it the solid billet are the ones to get as many peeps slag off the cheaper ones like mine, but if you fit them properly can't see the problem as mine have been fine on and off road

also with the solid billet ones you've less chance of developing the wobble as they're better made (balanced)

;)

I'm still trying to find more cost effective (cheaper!!) 15mm/20mm options.

Anyone seen any?
