vibration second gear when accelerating was created by littlegreenjimny
Hi Guys
I get a fairly harsh vibration at the rear of my jimny
2000 1.3 hard top jimny
Drives fine apart from when acceleating in 2nd gear, its only when i first change into second, once i build up a bit of speed the vibrations goes.
It does not do this when slowing down or any other gears
Any thoughts?

I would guess Universal Joint.
Either the rear one on the main prop (most likely) or the one on the mini prop (less likely)

Is it between 1600 and 1900 rpm? if so mine does the same and i haven't found a cure. I just change in to second later or put up with it.
