How bad Halford?
I'm getting between 30 and 33 at the moment, in the colder weather with AT's.
That seems to be the average from what I've seen!
With regards to the OP, I don't think there's a great deal that can be done do get significant power increases on a NA engine without spending a fair few pennies!

Hi Jimnyash
always get 28 mpg :pinch:
for one tankful I drove like a vicar as if pottering around lady's tea parties :S
for another I drove like a white van man, tearing around constantly at high revs
and guess what .................. it was much more fun being white van man
seriously though ... on both occasions I returned 28 mpg, hence, it makes sense to me that something's not quite right, but I don't know what

I have thought for some time now that tuning a Jimny engine in any way is futile as it is quite powerful for it's capacity out of the box. If it needs anything it is torque which you will not achieve from a 1.3.
It is much better to accept it for what it is and be sympathetic with what you ask of it.
Whilst not quick, mine can hold 60mph on most inclines dropping down to 4th before it dips much under 4k revs and out of the power band. That's with 29.75" extreme MT's, an external cage and winch, bootful of tools and recovery gear and a fat me!
People think 4k on the motorway is mad, but it's near what a standard Jimjam does and what they are built to do.
If you need more offroad, you need a Rocklobster, not more power!
So save your money for something more fun and more cool!

"It has been dyno proven on various Rolling Roads across the country that this device will add up to 30 BHP to your car !"
Just ask them for the printouts
Put it this way, if it worked, I'd fit 4 then I'd have an extra 120BHP for only £160: bargain!
