Prop shaft spacer was created by chimpbikes
Sorry if this is a silly question but if you fit corrected radius arms for a 3" lift , how do you know if you need prop spacers, do you have to unbolt the prop flanges and see if a gap appears?

Thanks in advance

i think its a 1" spacer on a 3" lift and a 2" on a 4 and above if corrected arms are fitted

Hi martin I'm pretty sure what your looking for is whether the front prop shaft has clearance on the mid chassis support bar in front of the transfer box. When I lifted mine my last week the front prop was touching the chassis bar you ll see what I mean when you do it, any probs drop me an email as it's all still fresh in my head :-)

I'm running no front prop at the moment until my crawler box is built and I have had nothing I can't do just in rear wheel drive with new tyres and ora lift

With a 3" lift and corrected arms the front prop will require a spacer on the transferbox end with a standard jimny transferbox. I have not needed it with my SJ transferbox.
