things just go from bad to worse was created by markyp2000
i was carrying out a simple engine rebuild and

when head was removed found valve guides worn out :(
then noticed no1 piston sitting low :(
removed sump and then piston found conrod bent :(
soursed second hand rod :)
went to fit new rings and thay didnt fit :(
went to fit new bigend bearing guess what thay didnt fit :(

my question to you is has any one rebuilt a g13bb engine with patten parts if so where did you get them from and what was the make

update sent the head away to have the valve guides replace and guess what the head looks like it cracked :( so waiting on a pressure test to be done if it ok :cheer: if not it will need welding wish i hadnt bothered now but at least when its dont i no its dont correctly also in having to have the new conrod ballanced along with the other 3 so it sould run smother :cheer: i may even get him to pollish and port the head and fitt bigger injectors :unsure:
