Are you travelling up through Norway? Not to be an asshole, but seriously, WTH are you worried about? It will not be that cold, and you will not need any mods to survive. Moms take their kids to kindergarden in their 2wd corollas at the arctic circle in Norway. This isn`t like the arctic circle in the rest of the world

I am considering doing a similar thing and after a lot of research reckon keeping the jim as standard as possible with the exception of fluids, lighting (long nights that far north) and quality winter tyres. As long as you don't have a diesel jimny fuel freezing or waxing will not be an issue, also ensure the electrical system is in tip top condition as the cold will hammer it, especially the battery. For more information have a look at mudrut.co.uk Ian Woolley has been up that way a few times and knows his stuff.
