I just wondered Martin if you ever fitted the speedo corrector from Jaycar? I have now bought one and a friend put it together for me and I will fit it shortly.
If you did were there are any problems and did you easily identify the correct wire from the speedo sender on the back of the transfer box? I thinks its the yellow/green wire.
Any thoughts, comments or help appreciated.

I fitted this yesterday and it works a treat. Not difficult to install once you have identified the correct wires. At the speedo sensor on the transfer box there is a live and negative as well as the pulse wire. The pulse wire is green/yellow, the live blue and the negative browny colour. I use the live and negative to feed the box and interrupted the green/yellow for the pulse supply and return. I ran the wires into the car and installed the unit under the dash. Easy to calibrate once you realise the default setting is to decrease the speedometer reading rather than increase it! For the cost - around £22 including shipping from Australia its excellent value for money, and as my car is an auto it has sorted out the gear change positions back to as they should be.

I think if mine hadn't been an auto I might not have bothered but the auto box changes weren't right, but now its sorted it out which was worth the effort. Mine also was a bit of a 'round-tuit' job as it was ages ago that I last contacted you about it!
