Yeah, here's where I'm confused. I was convinced it was an M10 thread but the M10 nuts I borrowed from something else didn't fit. I've gone and got some new nuts just in case the borrowed nuts weren't actually M10 at all but I'd swear they are. We'll see.

you have confused me a little here :huh:
has your exhaust got captive nuts welded on it & you looking for the right size bolt to fit them ????
if thats right you will need m12 x 1.25 thread bolts as standard m12 bolts are 1.5 pitch & will not fit the nuts

Other way around, I have bolts welded to the flange of the back box.
Like this order,
-BOX-|= |:
- pipe
| flange
= bolts x 2
: nuts x 2
Like this order,
-BOX-|= |:
- pipe
| flange
= bolts x 2
: nuts x 2

I found the M12s too big, and the M10s slighty too small, so guessed it was the pitch but I couldnt be arsed to double check the pitch size of the nut so just forced the standard M10s on, they just mangled the bolt thread, but went on a treat - i know they wont come off unless i take the grinder to them now :whistle:

This is correct M10 x 1.25 basically M10 fine thread I had the same problem so had to make some as I needed them ASAPvitara_mad wrote: i ment to put m10 x 1.25 thread
