That might be, but Insa Turbo only make remoulds and have no original tread patterns, so I doubt they do any testing of their tyres or design them for a specific purpose.

As said, the Sahara is just a copy of a Yokohama Geolandar (sorry spelt it wrong earlier).

 

Don't get me wrong, the originals and remoulds are very good tyres, but I'm not personally convinced they have any traits to make them better in sand than most other MT's. Unless you are running paddle tyres, a lot of people like AT's in the sand, as they float on top better. But it can cause a split of views and opinions.

In either case, looking at images of the tyres the op says they have. I'd need a little more convincing it is the tyres being 100% the cause.
